Privacy Policy

We appreciate your interest in our website. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about how we process your data.

Storage of access data in server log files

You can visit our web pages without providing any personal information. We only store access data in so‑called server log files, e.g. the name of the requested file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. These data are used exclusively to ensure the trouble‑free operation of the site and to improve our offer and do not allow us to draw any conclusions about your person.

Web analytics with Matomo

This website uses the open‑source web analytics software Matomo to statistically evaluate user behaviour and improve our offering. Matomo runs on our own server in Germany (with our hosting provider All‑Inkl.com) and is operated by us.

We configured Matomo so that, by default, no cookies are set and your IP address is processed only in anonymised form. Therefore, no conclusions about individual users are possible. There is no transfer of data to third parties.

If you expressly consent in the cookie banner, Matomo additionally uses cookies to improve analysis. These are used to recognise returning users and enable further analyses. Processing in this case is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can prevent the collection of your visit by Matomo at any time by activating the “Do Not Track” setting in your browser or by refusing/withdrawing consent in the cookie banner. Further information on Matomo: matomo.org/privacy.

Data collection and use when using the contact form

When you use the contact form, we collect your personal data (name, e‑mail address, message text) only to the extent you provide it. The data processing serves the purpose of contacting you. By sending your message, you consent to the processing of the transmitted data. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR with your consent.

If you contact us via WhatsApp, data will be transmitted to WhatsApp (see section “Use of WhatsApp Business for support and marketing”).

You can withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us. We use your e‑mail address only to process your request. Your data will then be deleted unless you have consented to further processing and use.

Use of WhatsApp Business for support and marketing

We offer you the option to contact us via the WhatsApp messenger service. The EU provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. When you use the WhatsApp button, a direct connection to WhatsApp is established. In particular, your phone number and the messages you send are transmitted to WhatsApp; processing may also be carried out by WhatsApp Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA.

Communication via WhatsApp primarily serves to answer your enquiries (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). In addition, you can optionally receive our offers and discount promotions about twice per month via WhatsApp if you have explicitly consented (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by sending us the text “STOP”.

Please note that WhatsApp processes transmitted content and metadata in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy. Details for EEA users: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea. Revisions: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea/revisions.

Data collection and use for contract processing and customer account creation

We collect personal data when you provide it voluntarily as part of your order, when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e‑mail) or when creating a customer account. The data collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide for contract processing and handling your requests. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted after expiry of tax and commercial retention periods unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this which is legally permitted.

Data transfer for contract fulfilment

For contract fulfilment, we transfer your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery as far as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. For payment processing, we transfer the necessary payment data to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to payment service providers commissioned by us or to the payment service selected by you in the ordering process.

Payment service providers

To process your order, we use the payment service provider PayPal. This also includes additional payment methods such as credit card, direct debit, purchase on account or “Pay Later”, if offered by PayPal and selected during the ordering process. The transfer of your data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract).

PayPal

Payment processing is carried out via PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22‑24 Boulevard Royal, L‑2449 Luxembourg. PayPal may transmit personal data such as name, address, e‑mail address, payment data or other transaction information. PayPal also reserves the right to carry out a credit check. Use of Cloudflare

To secure this website and to optimise loading times, we use the service Cloudflare as a Content Delivery Network (CDN). Provider: Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

All traffic between your browser and our web offering technically runs through Cloudflare’s network. In particular, your IP address and technical connection data such as referrer, browser version or operating system are processed temporarily in order to detect security attacks and accelerate content delivery.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Cloudflare pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Data transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Further information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy and cloudflare.com/trust-hub/privacy-and-data-protection.

Use of cookies and consent management

Our website uses cookies to provide basic functions, to statistically evaluate usage and, where applicable, to personalise content or advertising. Your consent is managed via our cookie banner (provided by Silktide Consent Manager). There you can view, change or withdraw your settings at any time.

Technically necessary cookies are processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional website). The use of all other cookies takes place exclusively with your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. An up‑to‑date and complete overview of the cookies used can be found in our cookie policy.

Use of Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies and server‑side measurement to analyse how users use the website. IP anonymisation is active so that your IP address is truncated within the EU.

Processing takes place only on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via our cookie banner. Processing may also take place on Google servers in the USA; transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. More information: support.google.com/analytics/answer/12017362.

Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google Ads Conversion Tracking. If you reach us via a Google ad, Google Ads sets a cookie on your device that enables analysis of usage behaviour and conversions. Data processing takes place only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and is controlled via our consent banner. Information on Google’s data processing: policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Ads Enhanced Conversions

We use the “Enhanced Conversions” feature of Google Ads. If you consent to conversion tracking, certain data (e.g. e‑mail address) are hashed on our order confirmation page and transmitted to Google to improve attribution. Data are transmitted to Google only in hashed form and are used solely to improve campaign measurement. There is no transmission in plain text or use for other purposes.

Your rights

Where the legal requirements are met, you have the following rights: right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
